How then do you use Your Phone Companion? You'll need to download the app on your PC and cell phone. There will be a QR code on the computer for you to scan with your mobile. After it connects, the display will show you the various options you can select.

The main problem with the application is the difficulty posed by creating a connection through wifi. Another limitation of this program is that your laptop is inaccessible from your mobile device. This feature contrasts with PushBullet, an alternative program on the market that affords you that capability. 

You can pretty much do everything from your PC, including playing games. However, the program only works with Android phones. PushBullet, in comparison, works with all OS.

You can run it on Android 4.4 and onwards.

Is there a better alternative?

Yes, PushBullet is a better option, given its smoother connection and ability to work with all devices. If you are using Samsung, then Flow is a great option to create a link between electronics.

Our take

All in all, this is a great program. While it does have its problems with establishing connections and compatibility,  you can take advantage of its utility. The program establishes a powerful, direct link between your electronics.
