Make PDFs anywhere

Tiny Scanner 0/3

Tiny Scanner is a free application that lets you scan documents directly from your phone. You can turn them into either a picture or PDF in whatever color you want, whether greyscale, black and white, and so on.

Scan anywhere, anytime

Scanning has never been easier, given that you only need your phone to perform the action.

Tiny comes with a solid selection of features like automatic edge detection and quick searching of documents. It is quite easy to use, with only a few buttons available and no needless complications.

However, one thing it does lack when compared to Camscanner and Adobe Scan is the ability to share the documents with other services directly. It also places a watermark on all your pictures by default unless you get the Pro version.

It does lack a variety of options for specific types of pictures like IDs. The software does, however, provide password protection for your files, which none of the competitors like Camscanner do.

Where can you run this program?

You can use it on Android 4.1 and onwards.

Is there a better alternative?

Yes. If you’re looking for free software with no limitations, Adobe Scan is a perfect scanner with no fees. It provides all the necessary elements to get the job done. Camscanner has a wider array of features that only improve in the pro version.

Our take

Overall, the Tiny Scanner app has a good number of options that will make your scanning go smoothly. The password-protection feature is just a nice touch to add.

Should you download it?

Yes, if you don’t mind the watermark. Otherwise, you should spring for alternatives like Adobe Scan.
