Remove duplicate files from your Mac
Singular is a simple but powerful tool to help you find and remove duplicate files on your Mac. Duplicate files can not only confuse but they take up unnecessary space on your hard drive. Singular allows you to simply drop files and folders onto its main window or Dock icon or browse to the files or folders from within the main interface.
Singular finds duplicate files, shows you the results, and lets you move them to the Trash in just a click of the mouse. However, there are some limitations to consider. When dealing with very large files or folders, Singular can be very slow and may even crash before completing an entire scan. Additionally, at the time of writing, the developer's site was down, meaning there's no way of getting support when such problems arise.
Despite these limitations, Singular is fairly fast and efficient at highlighting duplicated files for smaller files and folders (less than 1GB). It can help free up hard drive space and simplify your file organization. However, for larger files, it may not be the most stable or reliable option.
Please note that Singular is a trial version and may have limited overall functionality. There is no undo button for deleting files, so caution is advised when using this tool.
