Picturenaut 0/1

Picturenaut is a free photo editor that allows you to create HDR compositions in an amazingly quick way. Unlike other HDR tools, which can take a significant amount of time to process images, Picturenaut features a fast HDR generating engine that runs independently from the user interface. After selecting three or more images with different luminance values, the program processes them in just a few seconds, creating a first HDR composition.

Once you have your HDR image, you can easily modify the exposure value using a slider on Picturenaut's interface. Additionally, the program offers several different tone-mapping methods that you can experiment with in real time to find the one that best suits your composition. Picturenaut also supports plug-ins, allowing you to extend its functionality, although these plug-ins must be downloaded manually from the developer's website.

Other notable features of Picturenaut include automatic image alignment, color balancing, and the ability to remove ghosts when combining images into the final HDR photo. The program also supports RAW files, although it does not save to JPG.

Overall, Picturenaut is a surprisingly fast HDR photo editor with various tone-mapping methods, support for RAW formats, and a range of interesting extra features.
