Become the GM (general manager) and take on the Madden Masters and build your team into NFL Legends and Superstars. Sign players, unlock new players by completing daily objectives, deal with hold-outs and more in this intelligent and adaptive gameplay experience. If you make it the whole way, you will even come face-to-face with the NFL MVP (National Football League Most Valuable Player) Patrick Mahomes.

Although you won’t be playing yourself, you will still be responsible for the result on the scoreboard. You will be in control of the player’s tactics, whether you choose to opt for Smashmouth, West Coast, Spread or Vertical will be up to you. Madden NFL Mobile Football brings you an incredibly fun and realistic experience managing your favorite NFL team. While there are in-app purchases, the game is completely free to download. The gameplay is not flawless and there are occasional bugs which need to be fixed, such as being unexpectedly booted off the server. In spite of this, it beats any competition by a mile!

Should you download it?

If you like the idea of managing your own NFL team then Madden NFL is a simple choice to make. My only reservation concerns the in-app purchases. Some of these upgrades are priced at around $100 which are just not worth it, in my opinion. In-app purchases are optional, but when you’re hooked on a game, it’s easy to lose perspective.
