The clumsiest hero in all of gaming
Some heroes are invincible, some faster than a bullet, and others are stronger than bears. This hero cannot walk a straight line, but they can solve puzzles.
Left foot, right foot, and down we fall
Explore undiscovered worlds and solve complicated puzzles. The greatest challenge is to place one foot in front of the other
Have you ever wondered how humans would look and move if they were made out of dough? The developer team of No Brakes Games asked themselves that question, and the answer is a hilarious mess. In Human: Fall Flat, you take control of a human-shaped creature. But, all the bones and muscles seem to be replaced with dough. As you can imagine, moving is a challenge in this game. It is a lot of fun as well. But the real fun begins once you must solve puzzles with these uncoordinated characters.
The greatest challenge in solving puzzles is your body control. The arms of your hero are controlled individually. Swift movements can wobble up the limbs of your avatar, and it will fall flat. The lack of bones is your friend (for once) as these harsh knock-ups are not harmful to your character. After you’ve dressed your dough-man up, enter the multiplayer-mode and explore the world with up to 7 other players.
To progress from one world to another, you must rely on your creativity when solving puzzles. The motion of your character can lose its charm once you’re stuck on one problem for a more extended amount of time. In some instances, the old ‘trial and error’ method is the only way to move forward in the game. Your characters tend to grab whatever they can, which can mess with your puzzle solving.
Where can you run this program?
This game is compatible with Windows XP and later. It is also available on Android, iOS, and macOS. You can play it on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
Is there a better alternative?
No. This game combines the multiplayer elements of other prominent co-op games, such as Journey, with slapstick comedy. This adds a personal touch and increases the comedic effect. If the amusing motion physics are the only thing that attract you, then you should give Octodad a try as well.
Our take
Human: Fall Flat is an amusing platformer game. The wacky movements make routine tasks interesting, and the multiplayer mode will entertain you for hours. The puzzles will bring out your creative side.
Should you download it?
Yes. If you’re looking for a funky, messy, and silly platformer game, then this is a great choice.
