The app also allows you to use subtitle files on your phone, and the font style, font size and color of the subtitles are all customizable.

Content that is in your Dropbox account or saved in Google Drive is also playable on this app. For content that you don’t wish young kids to view, you can select to lock the app with a passcode for added protection. Files downloaded include the duration, file size and the resolution of the videos, which is a nice touch.

There are a couple of drawbacks. Media on your camera roll isn’t playable on this application. Also, people have playback issues and glitches when using this application. Getting files on your phone is also a pain because rather than having a direct download option like Netflix and Hulu, you have to download the video file to a computer, then use iTunes to transfer the file to your mobile device.

No. There are a variety of options available if this app if not for you. Kodi, AVPlayer and RealPlayer are alternatives to this software. You can also use the download feature on the mobile version of media streaming sites such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Video.
