Honey, I Joined a Cult is a strategy game developed by Sole Survivor Games. It allows you to create and control your own 1970s cult. The game is all about building and expanding your base, managing your resources, and making as much money as possible out of your followers. You start by choosing a humorous name for your cult, leader, divine being, holy room, and followers. You also get to decide on a funky symbol for your merch, a weird uniform to impress the public, an imposing hat to make the other cults jealous, and a strange relic to worship and adore.

The game revolves around setting up your cult HQ and managing your resources. You need to provide basic facilities like toilets and beds for your followers to indoctrinate them. The Hypno-Chamber will remind followers of what’s really important, and the Pool of Revelations will reveal their hidden traits. To progress, you need wealthy and influential members, as preying on the destitute doesn’t pay the bills. However, you'll have to be wary of the government, journalists, and cultists' family members who are against your cult. The game is a blend of humor and strategy that keeps you engaged throughout.
