You’ll also be able to manage your cell phone’s notifications, access any app, reply to text messages using your keyboard, access your videos and photos, and move files to and from your PC. System requirements

Notably, any calls made through the app require you to have a PC running Windows 10 or higher, which has Bluetooth capability. The same applies to the drag and drop feature, access to apps, and several other features. 

To make use of the multiple apps feature, you need to have a computer running at the very least the May 2020 update. You should also have a minimum of 8 GB of RAM. Your Android cell phone must be operating Android 11.0. 

Basic setup 

First, install the Your Phone app and launch it. It can be found using Cortana’s search feature. Then click on ‘Get Started,’ ‘Sign in with Microsoft’ (enter in your details), and ‘Link Phone’ (enter your phone number). Your cell phone will receive a message that gives you a link to download the Your Phone Companion app. Next, install and open the app, check ‘My PC is ready,’ and connect to your computer.

Your Phone is a convenient and efficient app. We’re particularly fond of the drag and drop feature, which makes for quick file transfers. Additionally, it’s not every day you get to make a phone call from your computer.
