Symbol Caddy: Special characters made easy
The Symbol Caddy Dashboard Widget is a useful tool for quickly accessing special characters without the need for complicated keyboard combinations. It offers both keyboard and HTML modes, providing a wide range of special characters including mathematical signs, copyright symbols, and letters with diacritical marks. With the ability to copy characters to the clipboard, it allows for easy use in any text editor. The chosen symbol's name is also displayed at the bottom of the interface, making it convenient to identify the selected character. Despite the inability to change the font size, Symbol Caddy is presented in a clean and organized widget window, replacing the need for the keyboard viewer on Mac.
