emitSMS widget - Review
The emitSMS widget is a program available for Mac that allows users to easily send SMS messages through their Dashboard. With the release of Leopard on Mac, the ability to send and receive messages from Address Book has been removed, but emitSMS provides a solution for this. The widget works with certain Bluetooth mobile phones from brands like Nokia or Motorola, so users need to check if their model is supported. Setting up the Bluetooth connection can be a bit tricky, but once it's done, sending an SMS is a breeze. The widget syncs up with the Mac's Address Book, making it easy to access contacts' phone numbers. There are also additional features like the ability to get a delivery receipt or store messages. The only drawback is that the "send" button is a little small. Overall, emitSMS is a very useful widget for sending SMS via Bluetooth from your Dashboard.
