Sort the Court! 0/3

Sort the Court lives up to the name by splitting it in two, the "yes" and "no" sections. There's not much more to it than pressing two buttons and trying to build your domain.

Luck is important

Rule your kingdom with an iron fist or featherlight touch, choosing between your wealth and the citizen's happiness.

Often when you play a game in this genre, you're presented with tough choices that have significant impacts on your kingdom's future. Your choices determine the kingdom's happiness levels, population, and wealth. Will you have a large city with happy citizens, or a mountain of gold?

There are plenty of unique characters to interact with, each bearing their own consequences for your choices. And these are only some of the more than one hundred and fifty possible decisions you may encounter. Some of these are as simple as choosing whether a character can move into your city, while others will see you trying to avoid bankruptcy as you invest in science and blacksmithing research.

Luck does play a role in this game because some choices have inevitable consequences. These characters, mainly those that offer magical services, will flip a coin regardless of your wishes. While other NPCs, such as the mimic or thief, often return to you until you solve their individual story lines by making the right choices.

If you're a fan of the genre and played games such as Reigns, then you'll likely appreciate this simple hand-drawn style that Sort the Court offers. But, if you enjoy the latest 3D graphics and rendering, this may not be the game for you.

Where can you run this program?

Sort the Court is available for any web browser with flash support.

Is there a better alternative?

No. Sort the Court is a charming and simple game that tells a story as you decide where it goes through two simple prompts. Games such as Reign have minimalistic graphics, which feels less immersive.
