Rushing to war
The real-time strategy genre is extremely popular, offering games with a vast array of characters and many buildings. Rush Wars is such a game, and tactics mean everything.
Planting your defenses
Another great hit from Supercell, Rush Wars is a tower defense game where you gain units and raid your enemies.
Supercell is a well known mobile game developer, offering titles such as Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Boom Beach. Each of these offers their own themes that cater to different the different likes you may have. Rush Wars is similar in that the gameplay for all of these involves gathering units in order to attack other player’s bases. You must build the defense of your base.
Parodying many pop-culture sensations, such as Fortnite, Rush Wars offers a selection of inspired characters that are sure to leave an impression in their cartoony style. Finding your favorite unit to deploy will never be an issue when picking from the brightly colored cast available.
The game is great for casual players, so if you’re looking for something to play in your free time, this is perfect. But, there are also avenues that competitive players can take to dominate all enemies. In both styles, you’ll create an attacking squad, find an opponent, and then unleash all your troops against their defenses.
Browsing the other available titles reveals just how overly saturated the genre is, each game often feeling similar to the last. This one does differ, though, in its loot box approach to gaining heroes. To solve this, you can always purchase those heroes and units separately, for money.
Where can you run this program?
Rush Wars is available for Android 6.0 and later. It also runs on IOS devices
Is there a better alternative?
No. There are many games that are similar to Rush Wars, especially by the same developer. This means that Rush Wars has all the benefits of the knowledge gained from developing Clash of Clans and Boom Beach.
Our take
Rush Wars is a great game to play with friends, both competitively and casually. It may have a few pay-to-win features, but this only affects competitive players.
Should you download it?
Yes. If you’re looking for a tower defense style game full of wacky characters, this is a great choice. But, to get these characters, you might need to open a few loot boxes.
