Pokémon UNITE is a free app that you can play as your favorite Pokémon in this 5v5 brawl and experience Pokémon as you never have before. Fight as Charizard, Pikachu, Blastoise, Lucario, Snorlax, and many others as you help your team score the most points, level up, and destroy the enemy Pokémon.

The Pokémon Company developed Pokémon UNITE in partnership with TiMi Studios. You’ll find it on Android, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. 

Gameplay

This strategic team-based battle game offers you real-time battles with players from around the world. However, at the moment, the regional beta test is available to Canadian residents only. The game spawns teams on opposite ends of the map with the ultimate objective of scoring more points than the enemy. There are five scoring areas on both sides. 

You’ll use a combination of both long-range and short-range attacks to vanquish your foes, but remember to defeat the wild Pokémon you find, or else you’ll fall behind. Defeating these NPC’s will cause your chosen Pokémon to level up, evolve, and learn new skills - be sure to choose wisely. 

The game boasts about its cross-platform play, meaning you can match up with anyone, no matter what device they’re using. 

Terms and Conditions 

Pokémon UNITE requires that your Android device has Version 5.0 or more installed and at least 3 GB of RAM. To play, you need to be at least 16 years of age. You can view the privacy policy on Pokémon's website.

Our take

This game is an awesome addition to the ever-growing and always-exciting Pokémon game series. Fans of the earlier games will love this new concept and thoroughly enjoy getting to ‘choose’ their childhood Pokémon in a completely new setting.
