Finally, there is  ‘Web Clipper’, a favorite among many. Using this browser extension, you can skip ads on a web page and save its contents directly into Evernote. While there are other note-taking apps that you could use, what makes Evernote special is the integration with a wide range of other apps.

Integration with Siri is a plus

Over previous versions, this is one of the better improvements Evernote implemented. Integration with Siri makes sure you keep on working away without skipping a beat. Whether you’re driving, working out, or making breakfast, you’ll be able to interact with Evernote easily.

Though you’ll need to use specific phrases, integration with Siri is the best way to easily take notes, set reminders, listen to information on web pages, and perform several other tasks.

Simplenote is another good choice, letting you find notes with search tags, post instructions, share lists, or publish thoughts. Most importantly, it backs up your data in real-time.
