Tile is a tracking device that uses Bluetooth to let you find any lost item- Attached to the object, the tracker comes in three different versions: Pro, Mate, and Slim. Each model may vary in feature and style, but they can all be controlled with a single device through the Tile app. 

Once you have set up the adhesive, you can attach the device to large objects such as your laptop or bike helmet. Downloading the app gives you several ways to find what you’re looking for. You can activate a ringing sound coming from the tracker to give you its audible location (the only caveat is that the device must be within 300 feet). 

Another good aspect about this locator is that it’s a crowd-sourced tracker. What does that mean for you? In layman's term, the app's range as more people in the community connect to the cloud through Tile. More users amount to more coverage, and more coverage can be an added up in retrieving your lost goods.

Interface-wise, the app is easy to learn and navigate.  However,  in terms of loading, it is a bit slow. This can be a bit annoying especially in moments when what you want most is to find your keys or wallet as soon as possible.

Tiles is a highly reliable app that lets you find car keys, wallets, and much more. The app makes it easy for you to locate the tracker along with your belongings. The device is even handy when it comes to finding your own phone. What you may not like about the device is the slidable battery door. While this makes it easier to replace the battery, the tracker runs the risk of accidentally losing its battery (a bit ironic, really). 

Should you download it?

Yes, the Tile app will bring a peace of mind in those moments of not knowing where your personal belongings are.
