THE LAST REMNANT Remastered 0/3

In this title, you accompany Rush on his epic quest and find friends, gear, and upgrades, along the way. In a world with Mitra, Yama, Qsiti, and Sovani, you have plenty to explore.

An enthralling story and intricate combat system

The Remnant Remastered is a wonderful remake of a detailed and intricate RPG with improved graphics and a revitalized combat system.

The mysterious Remnants are back with more pixels and energy. This title is sure to delight fans of the original with the tweaks and adjustments made for different areas in the game. The loading times for different maps are much faster. This is impressive when you consider the graphical rehaul.

Combat is more engaging than ever. The developers threw out the slow style in the first iteration. You can now double the speed of different encounters. It’s worth noting, however, that quick time events keep pace with the new system. It’s more difficult to hit those hotkeys when you need to most.

The interface maintains its original style with a few changes. It’s easier to navigate most menus now due to a more organized format. Item and character management have also improved significantly. You won’t run into accidental misclicks or random stutters. There are also flashy graphics in different parts of the selection screen.

What’s most important, though, is that the core gameplay is exactly the way it was before. There are no story, item, or character changes. You experience the original iteration with only essential changes for a smoother playthrough. For example, any bugs present beforehand are no longer here and all items and spells function as intended.

Where can you run this program?

The Last Remnant Remastered runs on iOS 13 as well as Android, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4.

Is there a better alternative?

Yes. Persona 5 is a renowned title with fantastic visuals and an enticing combat system. The story aspect of either title is more subjective, though. The Last Remnant Remastered maintains a more classic JRPG feel while Persona 5 takes more risks.

Our take
