Built-in app for organizing your games
Ever wish you could find all your Android games in one place without having to create a folder and add them manually?
Available exclusively for Samsung devices, Samsung Game Launcher can do that, and much more.
What is the Game Launcher app on Samsung?
It provides one convenient place for organizing your installed games, finding new ones, and checking leaderboards. It also has an Instant Play feature, which enables you to play some games without installation.
You can also chat with friends via Discord – even if they’re playing on other platforms.
How do I get Samsung Game Launcher?
You don’t need to install it because it’s built into compatible Samsung phones and tablets.
If you don’t currently see it in your apps list, be patient. As soon as it’s available for your device, it’ll be installed as part of a future system update.
If it’s on your device, you can open the launcher from the apps list.
Does Samsung Game Launcher improve performance?
Yes, that’s part of its purpose.
It has a diverse range of tools for improving the performance of your device. Two of the most significant adjustments are the screen resolution and refresh rate.
You also have access to a dashboard that gives you an overview of performance-related metrics, such as battery level, current temperature, and memory usage.
How do I turn off Samsung Game Launcher?
Even though Games Launcher is built-in, if you wish, you can disable it. Here’s how.
- Go to Android settings
- Press ‘Advanced Functions’
- Press ‘Games’
- Alongside ‘Game Launcher,’ switch to ‘Off.’
It’s a handy hub for your gaming-related activity, and it’s best to wait for it to become available automatically. That way, you’ll know that it’ll work and that the software is free of viruses and malware.
However, if you want to install it separately, the APK can be found online. As always, be careful where you download it from, as suppliers could bundle it with additional, unwanted programs.
Should you download it?
Yes. Because this is a built-in launcher, we haven’t seen any direct alternatives for the game-launching function. There are lots of performance-boosting apps, though.
- Tools for improving device’s gaming performance
- Flexible settings for controlling
- Ability to play some games without installing them
