Plex keeps it simple and offers up 100 clean, flat, colorful, and simple icons for your phone. Their style is inspired by the Google Kennedy images. What most stands out is the simple design. Most icon packs have strange color combinations and funky borders. There’s none of that here. It’s sweet and to the point. The resolutions that are supported are hdpi (240 dpi, 72x72) and xhdpi (320dpi, 96x96). You'll see though, that certain resolutions might find issues with Plex images. Also, in spite of the fantastic icons, you can’t go in and change certain colors or sizes.

Downloading the pack is easy. However, Plex is not a launcher. It’s a name that represents the set of images used for shortcuts on your phone. This means you’ll have to separately download a launcher in order to make them work with your device. In fact, the developer specifically recommends using Apex Launcher, as it is the one that works best with these images.

Another point to keep in mind is that the developer provides infrequent updates. This means that, as new apps roll out, some icons may take time to create in order to catch up with these releases. You’re likely to find a mix of Plex and default icons when you apply this pack. You can, however, request specific icons from the developer and they’ll take the time to create them for you.

Plex attempts to provide fun, simple, and overall interesting icons for Android devices. However, it leaves you wanting more. If there were more frequent updates, it would be a perfect choice.
