NTFS Mounter for Mac: Add NTFS Read and Write Capabilities
NTFS Mounter is a free utility designed to bring NTFS read and write capabilities to your Mac. This program allows users to easily access and manipulate NTFS volumes, providing a simple user interface similar to AirPort. By clicking on the icon in the status menu, users can select the NTFS volume they want to write on, making it a straightforward process.
One of the less-known features in Snow Leopard is the ability to mount NTFS volumes with read/write support, and NTFS Mounter takes advantage of this functionality. While the program offers convenient access to NTFS volumes, it does not automatically dismount in case of crashes, requiring manual intervention for volume ejection.
