Minutes is a fun Dashboard timer that is a pleasure to use and integrates perfectly on your Mac. With its simple yet elegant design, Minutes offers four different designs to choose from. To start the timer, simply wind the yellow pointer until you've reached the desired time.
Minutes displays the current time and countdown in both seconds and minutes, and clicking on it gives you other display options. The widget also includes five different alarm sounds to choose from. However, one limitation is that you cannot select your iTunes playlist as the alarm sound.
Despite this limitation, Minutes is a beautifully designed widget and a very handy timer. It also has the option to pop up a little message to alert you when the timer is up.
Overall, Minutes is a great addition to your Dashboard for quickly setting and tracking timers.
