macOS Monterey Overview
macOS Monterey is a free major release of Apple's desktop operating system for Macintosh computers. This utility software is the 18th version and the successor to macOS Big Sur, now known as macOSSimilar to Windows 11, macOS Monterey introduces various new optimizations for the OS’ functionalities, such as enhanced FaceTime capabilities and streamlined Messages app. It also brings new features for improved security and productivity. However, it drops support for older Mac computer models released between 2013 and 2015.
