Lordz.io by Spinbot is a real-time strategy game (RTS) that gives you control over an army that you need to build. The goal is to defend your Lord from either the hordes of AI-controlled armies or the player-led forces while finding the right opportunity to slay their leader.

There is nothing like building an army to face off against endless hordes.

The game focuses on the multiplayer mode where you can battle up to 20 players at a time in a somewhat chaotic but immensely fun time. However, the Lordz.io lacks music or sound effects which can make the game unattractive.

Lordz.io 2 Conquest made some significant improvements to the game by adding in more units and customization. Unfortunately, though, it suffers from even more glitches. The first version disconnects you from the server or freeze, and the second version fares no better.

Each session is playable until you decide to stop. This aspect is fun, to say the least, but it doesn’t compare to the variety of combat situations found in Kingdom Rush. Both of the apps feature good graphics, but KR edges ahead as a solid RTS.

Is there a better alternative?

While the second Lordz.io is not worth an upgrade, Kingdom Rush is a reliable RTS option. It has fantastic graphics with a fun storyline that challenges you. It has a broader array of units and a logical progression system.

Our take

Overall, the game Lordz is aging. While it still has decent graphics and some fun elements of playstyle, the lack of audio and coding problems pull away from the quality of the experience.

Should you download it?

No. There are much better strategy games to download, such as Kingdom Rush.
