Capture audio and video from external sources
KCapture is a trial version software designed for Mac users who need to capture both audio and video. Unlike most packages that only allow you to capture one or the other, KCapture allows you to capture both simultaneously. The program creates AAC audio files optimized for continuous quality and also supports H.264 video. However, while the audio recording worked well with excellent reproduction quality, the video recording didn't work properly.
KCapture may seem simple at first glance, with a straightforward interface that allows you to start and stop recording with a single click. However, it also offers complex options and features that may be beyond the understanding of many general users. For example, it provides 18 different sound effects and allows you to change your input device.
Overall, KCapture is a nice idea but falls short as an audio capture tool compared to other options available. The video recording elements also seem to have issues.
