Free war first-person shooter
Gaijin Games released Enlisted as a free first-person shooter set with battle scenes of World War II. Squads will join you as you attack with machine guns, tanks, planes, or any other weapon of choice. It rivals the likes of Call of Duty, Warzone, and War Thunder with its intensity and missions.
The sheer scale of the game is enough to set it apart from the competition. You won’t only have soldiers to play with, but a full arsenal of weapons and vehicles. Enlisted has realistic scenes from WWII in all of its modes.
Exciting action with your squads
Unlike most FPS games where you can only play as one character or operator, Enlisted gives you control of an entire squad. You can choose one of the soldiers, but feel free to switch between them as needed. Selecting the right one at the right time with the appropriate firearm and skill is key to success.
Outstanding graphics and gameplay
Soldiers, vehicles, and aircraft look fantastic in the realistic settings of WWII. The vehicles also respond to battle situations in a simulated way close to how they might have reacted during the war. The developers stated that they used their experience from playing War Thunder to develop each element from the ground up.
Cross-play enabled
Gaijin has indicated that Enlisted has cross-play elements between desktop and PC. You can join the fight with your friends to take on opponents even if they’re using a different platform. While this setting is enabled by default, you can also disable it at any time.
Our take
Many free shooter games have been hitting the market in the last few years, and Enlisted is another fantastic addition to the genre. You’ll enter WWII via different modes, with a detailed story mode being one of them. One of the best features is squad control, where you have a large variety of soldiers and weapons you can control.
Should I download it?
Yes, if you’re a fan of FPS games set in World War 2. Since you don’t have to pay to download it, there’s no reason you shouldn’t try it out, unless your PC doesn’t meet the minimum requirements or you have insufficient storage. It might be challenging in the beginning, but you’ll get used to it.
