CloudPlay: Audio player for YouTube, SoundCloud, and more
CloudPlay for Mac is a simple yet powerful audio player that allows you to access and play music from various sources such as YouTube, SoundCloud, exfm, BandSoup, and even iTunes. It also supports searching through thousands of online radio stations and offers Last.fm scrobbling. With CloudPlay, you can easily find and enjoy your favorite music without the need to touch your mouse or trackpad, as it allows you to assign a hotkey or use an Apple Remote to activate it.
From the menu bar, CloudPlay provides access to your iTunes library and the ability to search for your favorite artists and create new playlists. Additionally, if you choose a song from YouTube, CloudPlay can even display the accompanying video clip. One of the best features of CloudPlay is that it is currently free to use while in beta, making it an attractive option for music enthusiasts.
However, it is worth noting that CloudPlay does not include support for Spotify music. Nevertheless, CloudPlay is an interesting and convenient application for anyone who regularly uses YouTube, SoundCloud, and iTunes for their music needs. It offers a seamless and efficient way to access and enjoy a wide range of music from different sources.
CloudPlay is available for Mac and is free to use during its beta period. However, once it reaches the Mac App Store, the beta version will expire 30 days later.
