Fight for coins and ascension
There are many different video games on the market, and it is becoming increasingly complex to pick the right one. With Clicker Heroes, players can choose an action-packed game with exciting ascension pathways.
Endless waves of monsters
With Clicker Heroes, turn every click into coins, abilities, heroes, and more.
Clicker Heroes is all about spamming as many taps as you can until you can create a self-sufficient scenario. Once you’ve collected enough currency, you can start buying heroes that generate coins in the background. As time goes on, there’s less of a need for you to tap, and you can be more involved with the many other aspects of the game. Although generating money while inactive might be a great objective, there is much more to strive for.
Your taps represent damage that is dealt to monsters. They appear in waves of nine and are followed by a boss. Generally, the tenth mob in each set has a much higher difficulty level. This is the one that stops you from progressing too quickly. In order to reach the next area, you’ll have to spend the money you earn on upgrades and new, more powerful, heroes. If that’s not enough to push forward, you might be better off putting your phone down for a bit until you’ve earned enough to progress.
If you really get stuck, you can always reset your progress and earn bonuses for your next run-through. This is a mechanic that helps improve on the limited replayability. Other than this, you’re going to find that the rest of the game is bland and has little variety.
A major downside is the complexity this game has. You’re going to feel lost for the first few hours.
Where can you run this program?
This program runs on Android 9.0 and later. It’s also available for iPhone and Windows.
Is there a better alternative?
No. The closest alternative in this category of idle games is Adventure Capitalist. However, it lacks the constant action of Clicker Heroes and forms part of an entirely different genre.
Our take
Clicker Heroes creates an interesting balance between necessary player involvement and productive idle progression. However, it’s a bit complex for the style of game it was built for.
Should you download it?
Yes. Anyone looking for a simple and dynamic game, without too much complexity, is sure to enjoy Clicker Heroes.
