8fit combines your healthy eating needs and exercise under one umbrella. This program ensures that you are getting all the food into your body that you need to stay in good shape while having all the time for the other things in your life.
Ready, set, go!
You’ll find meals and workouts just for you in this 8fit app that is made to be efficient. It has a few shortcomings despite its overall good function.
This app has been around for a while and stayed fairly popular. There is no free version of the app; you’ll need to get a year-long subscription at a fixed price. Once paid, it grants you access to the customization section.
Here, the app will ask all the information necessary like your age and weight, to create a plan for your exercise. Most of them are 8-12 minutes, with variance depending on whether you are aiming for muscle building or toning. Creating your meal plan is easy, and you are given the freedom to choose what you like and don't make the best for you.
Unfortunately the 8fit is not perfect. Apart from having a non-negotiable year-long subscription plan, the software glitches and crashes quite often. The workouts are not modifiable at all as well. Finally, the videos take a while to load.
Where can you run this program?
Devices using iOS 11 and upwards can use this application.
Is there a better alternative?
Yes, if you want to save money and don’t want much side information, Home Workout - No equipment and Meal Planner is an option. Sworkit and Freeletics are great for more customizable workouts.
Overall, this app is decent. It’s especially good at providing a well-curated meal plan for each individual. Also, it takes away the need to plan at all for your sessions or be bothered. It is not very good for beginners who are still figuring out exercise poses.
Should you download it?
Yes. If you’re looking for a food scheduler and an automatic exercise generator, this app works well enough.
