Your everyday taskmaster
Wunderlist is a handy task management tool. You can use it to create lists for shopping, to-do lists, and set reminders. There are plenty of features, which help you go into a bit more detail when it comes to planning your day or jotting down your thoughts about a major project.
Time management tool
Wunderlist makes it simple to create and tick off your to-do list, so you can spend more time accomplishing what you set out to do.
The app doesn’t go beyond its scope; rather, it does what you expect it to do well. You can sign into your Wunderlist account across multiple platforms, and your lists, notes, and tasks will sync between devices. It’s practical for using out and about, at home, or in the office.
The organizational features of the app go above the basic level, which makes it a time-saving tool. You can break tasks down into subtasks, add notes, and organize by category or deadline. This great functionality is complemented by the responsive nature of the app; it takes very little time to create, sort, and check off tasks, so you can achieve them quickly.
Wunderlist also works as a collaboration tool, so you can share your shopping list with your significant other or make a project to-do list available to a whole team. You can assign tasks to different team members and communicate through comments.
An occasional error in the app means that notifications won’t always work as you would expect them to, which certainly defeats the purpose of a task and time management platform. The biggest issue to overcome, though, is the sign-in process with a Microsoft account. It takes a long time and involves confusing error messages.
Where can you run this program?
Wunderlist requires Android 4.1 or later.
Is there a better alternative?
Yes. Try TickTick or WorkFlowy for similar functions without the account issues.
Our take
Wunderlist is a useful tool that helps you speedily plan and organize your time and resources. The account signup process is the main negative issue. Although it is a time-saving application, Microsoft’s announcement that support for the app will discontinue at some point makes it less appealing.
Should you download it?
No. Since the future of the app is in doubt, try similar apps like TickTick or Todoist.
