TVShows is a program designed to make tracking and downloading your favorite TV show torrents as easy as possible. It automatically tracks and downloads the torrent files for your favorite shows, eliminating the need for manual searching. However, it's important to note that TVShows does not actually download the episodes themselves, only the torrent files. It can be configured to automatically open your preferred BitTorrent client to download the files. This eliminates the need to manually search for torrent files or find a working RSS feed for each show.

TVShows is a preference pane app that allows you to select your subscriptions and set your preferences. It uses a lightweight background process that checks for new episodes at a customized interval. You can choose your preferred quality settings, such as Normal, High, or Very High, and TVShows will download the closest available quality. The latest version even supports downloading HD torrents. However, we found that getting TVShows to work properly was not easy. It failed to retrieve any torrent files after searching, and the latest version still seems to be a work in progress.
