SWEAT by Kayla Itsines aims at providing women with professional long-term workout programs. Some of them don’t require equipment, but all of them need dedication as they will make you stronger but also make you sweat.
Pro trainers on your phone
The Kayla Itsines Fitness app empowers women to take on the challenge of being healthy and fit. While the app provides a good service, it isn’t unique and has a couple of problems.
The app has eight different workout plans that each takes many weeks to complete. All of them are done by skilled trainers who will guide you through each work out with a short repeated video clip. One problem with these is there is only one beginner track program to help boost you to the level of difficulty.
SWEAT also has a meal planner which has a great variety of options. The last important feature is the program comes with an option to share pictures of yourself as you go through your development with other women.
The main is the subscription price, which is a bit high in comparison to other workout programs like Sworkit or 8fit. Also, many of the plans require equipment that isn’t going to be in a household.
Where can you run this program?
You can run this on IOS 11 and onwards, and on apple watches 4.0 and later.
Is there a better alternative?
Yes, Fit8 has a meal schedule while providing a larger quantity of workout options more personalized to you. Home Workout- No equipment and Meal Planner has fewer exercise plans but is free and has a food scheduler.
This app isn’t extremely different from any of the other applications available to take you to the next level. Although it does allow some social connections, the meal planner and the workout intensity stand out and make it ideal for someone who is already exercising regularly.
Should you download it?
No, Sweat is not worth the price of the app unless you enjoy Kayla Itsines and want a workout community.
