Paid science fiction RPG

Starfield by Bethesda is a paid science-fiction role-playing game that sets a whole new universe, much like the publisher’s previous titles Skyrim and Fallout 4. It uses an upgraded version of the Creation Engine, showing more advanced capabilities to run on modern gaming systems. It’s a completely new universe for gamers to explore on PC and console.

The story revolves around humanity’s quest to explore the galaxies in an open-world setting. There will be missions to complete, while the ultimate goal is to discover the meaning behind everything. Are there aliens out there? What will you find during your exploration?

Explore the universe

For any gamer who has been waiting for the new Bethesda universe to appear, Starfield has arrived. It’s a completely new story with a single-player campaign that will have you investigating various constellations and galaxies. There will be loads of missions that will have you playing for days on end, much like the Elder Scrolls and Fallout brands.

Create your character

When you start playing Starfield, you’ll create a new character that will have a significant backstory. There’s a progressive campaign that will lead you to new worlds, where you can craft new space ships and settlements. However, you’ll need to keep moving if you want to reach the end of the game.

Discover new worlds

Each world will have new features, items, ecosystems, and missions. While you can complete the main storyline objectives, there’ll be many side quests to complete. Starfield focuses more on the character than finding as many planets as possible, so don’t expect random world generation.

Our take

Starfield is an exciting open-world science fiction RPG that’s ready to take the universe by storm. You’ll be able to explore various planets and galaxies, so imagine Skyrim and Fallout 4 on a much larger scale. You’ll have tons of futuristic weapons, items, and gear to craft and collect. However, you’ll need high-tech computers for the game's realistic graphics and mechanics.

Should you download it?

Yes, if you’re a fan of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, or space exploration in general.
