Penguins Arena: The First Ever First Penguin Shooter!
Penguins Arena is an enjoyable first person shooter (FPS) with good gameplay. In this playful FPS, you play as a penguin fighting for your tribe's supremacy over the world. The objective is to eliminate all the other penguins by throwing snowballs at them to push them off the island and into the shark-ridden waters. Each level is a different island with hills, ice walls, and holes.
The gameplay is intuitive, using your keyboard to move around and jump, and the mouse to shoot. You experience all the action from the penguin's perspective, which immerses you in the game. To survive, you must dodge the other penguins' snowballs and pick up scattered bonuses. As you progress, more weapons like bombs, claws, and clownfishes become available.
The game's only weak point is its multiplayer mode. When attempting to join other players, the game often crashes due to what appears to be a memory issue. Despite this, Penguins Arena offers an original plot, great gameplay, and plenty of bonuses, making it a perfect arcade success. It's a shame that online play doesn't work well.
