Mountaincore: A Deeply-Simulated Fantasy World Game
Mountaincore is a role-playing game that allows you to design and build a burgeoning colony in a deeply-simulated fantasy world. You start with seven dwarves, but with time you can build and support a population of hundreds. The game features a simulated world with changing weather and seasons that have a significant impact on gameplay.
One of the most impressive aspects of the game is every one of your settlers has their own needs and desires to fulfill as they work together for the common good. This feature makes the game more challenging, as you must balance the needs of your settlers with the resources available. Mountaincore also has a deep crafting tree that leaves no natural resource unused, tied together into satisfying production chains. You progress through skill tiers to craft better tools and weapons, and trade with merchants to increase your wealth even further.
