Highway Blossoms: A Yuri Kinetic Novel
Highway Blossoms is an American Southwest adventure game developed by AlienWorks. The game is set in the Southwest part of America, and the story revolves around the discovery of an old gold rush miner's journal that supposedly has clues to his hidden stash. The game has a total word count of 90,000, which translates to about six hours of reading.
The game has grand, hand-painted vistas of actual landmarks in the western United States, all in glorious 1080p detail. The soundtrack features the works of Anna Logue, Jake Abernathie, Able Kirby, and other friends of AlienWorks, with a sound that is perfect for your in-dash cassette tape player. Accessibility options are available for skipping through everything in less than five minutes, but why would anyone want to do that? The game also has achievements, although some may argue that they are stretching the definition of "achievement." Lastly, there is alternate silly content for second readthroughs that AlienWorks let the programmer write, which may or may not have been a good idea.
