Hearts - Queen of Spades
Hearts - Queen of Spades is a trick-taking game available on the iPhone platform. The objective of the game is to avoid winning tricks that contain hearts, with the queen of spades being a card to be particularly avoided. Also known by various names such as Black Lady, Rickety Kate, The Dirty, Dark Lady, Slippery Anne, Chase the Lady, Crubs, Black Queen, and Black Maria, Queen of Spades, Hearts is a unique evasion-type game within the Whist family of trick-taking games.
In Hearts, players score penalty points for cards they have won in tricks. Each heart card scores one point, while the queen of spades scores 13 points. However, if a player manages to win all the scoring cards, also known as a slam or shooting the moon, all other players' scores are increased by 26 points. The game concludes when a player reaches or exceeds 50 points, and the winner is determined by the player with the lowest score at that point.
