Display PDF documents directly in Firefox
I'm always looking for easier and quicker ways to handle PDF documents, and anything that allows me to view them instantly in my browser is more than welcome. Firefox-Mac-PDF does exactly that, removing the need for any third-party software outside of Firefox. You can zoom in and out of documents and switch between single or double displays. You can also export them instantly to view them in Preview.
Firefox-Mac-PDF is lightning quick. Normally there's at least a few seconds waiting around with PDF extensions in Firefox, but Firefox-Mac-PDF displayed an entire 50-page PDF document almost instantly. Just wave your mouse cursor over the bottom of the document to reveal the controls, open in Preview, and finally, save to disk.
If you just need a quick way of reading PDF documents without touching anything Adobe or enduring slow-loading plug-ins, Firefox-Mac-PDF is remarkably good.
