This app is perfect for fans of the horror genre, and who are also mobile gamers.
A crazy world of horror
Lose yourself in a sepia world of investigation and puzzle-solving.
Dig deep into the mystery of Bendy and the Ink Machine. The game takes place in an abandoned animation studio with some dark secrets. Find out what paranormal creatures lurk beyond the walls.
You play as Joey Drew, a retired animator, and spend the majority of your time exploring the studio that you retired from. There are plenty of cassette tapes scattered around for you to listen to, as well as some other clues and puzzles.
The voice acting is incredibly rich and enhances the overall experience. Playing on a mobile phone takes away some of the novelty of playing on a larger screen. Because the original version was a computer game, the art and sound engineering are better than average mobile games.
There are a variety of tasks to complete in BATIM, and there’s no rush to discover all the cassette tapes and clues scattered around the animation studio. You’ll be hooked to your screen to find out more, though.
These features are great, but the overall game takes a long time to complete. The lack of action might make it boring for some players, as well. Despite the game’s clever plot and intriguing puzzles, it could do with being a little easier to finish.
This game has a lot of content which is both a good and bad thing. However, some items may take up to 20 minutes to find, which is frustrating. Another aspect of the game that may deter some from downloading it is that you can’t save progress mid-chapter.
Where can you run this program?
This program is installable on devices operating on Android 6.0 and above.
Is there a better alternative?
No. This app is packed full of cutting-edge graphics and mind-boggling puzzles. If you want a bit more action, try Five Nights at Freddy’s; it’s on mobile as well and both titles are horror games.
Bendy and the Ink Machine is a pretty solid program. It has elements of mystery and enough puzzles to keep you busy. The gameplay could have a slighter faster pace, and autosaves within each chapter, but overall it’s great.
Should you download it?
Yes. If you want a horror game to play from the palm of your hand, this is the perfect app for you.
