Ballbank 0/1

Ballbank is a meticulously designed digital inclinometer developed by Christopher Dry, aiming to enhance roadway safety by providing precise advisory speeds for horizontal roadway curves. This utility tool, available for free on the iPhone platform, simplifies the process of determining advisory speeds by measuring superelevation, vehicle roll, and lateral acceleration in degrees.

Setting up Ballbank is straightforward; users place their phone on the dashboard akin to a traditional ball bank device and press Start. The app then records essential data, saving it as a video directly to the Photos app. Additionally, users can export a text file containing all curve data results for further analysis.

One of Ballbank's standout features is its ability to offer comprehensive insights. In addition to continuous angle readings and speed display, the app calculates maximum smooth angle, average speed, lateral g-force for every curve, linear distance, latitude/longitude, altitude, date, and time. This data collection allows for easy analysis and visualization on a map.
