WIA Scanner is an all-in-one application that brings bar code scanning functionality to your Windows desktop. With just a simple installation, you can easily scan almost all types of bar codes, including the most common ones. Additionally, WIA Scanner allows you to capture images from web pages, documents, or other images. You have the flexibility to set the orientation of the scanned images as per your preference. The application also offers the option to capture images at a specified page or size, which can be scaled before saving. If you're using a webcam, WIA Scanner can automatically rotate and scale the image for you. All the images are saved in JPG format.

Despite its simplicity and ease of use, WIA Scanner is packed with features, including an integrated web server. By default, the server is set to port 80, giving you the ability to access the contents of any website without the need for a web browser. You can also specify a custom port if necessary.
