Vibe retrieves data from popular sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Klout, and it even searches older platforms like MySpace. It also provides a brief profile bio of the person you are searching, although this feature is more reliable for well-known individuals or those with extensive online profiles. Additionally, Vibe can function as a Chrome extension.

Despite being easy to use, Vibe may initially cause some confusion as it does not install in the Dock but rather appears directly in the Menu Bar. To log in, simply click on the Vibe icon and enter your username and password. From there, you can enter an email address to uncover the person's Facebook profile, Twitter account, and more. While the accuracy of the retrieved profiles can be hit or miss, this is expected to improve in the final version of the app.
