Veten Berachá: A Comprehensive Guide to Blessings Before and After Consuming Food
Veten Berachá is an Android application developed by Revista Nascente. It is a free educational and reference program in the category of books. This app provides a summary of the main laws regarding blessings before and after consuming food, compiled by Rabbi Dichi from the Congregation Mekor Haim.
The work of Rav Dichi covers various topics, including blessings for different types of food, the significance of berachot (blessings), intention behind blessings, the requirement of reciting one hundred blessings per day, proper procedures for blessings, defining the shiurim (measurements) of reviít and cazáyit, pat habaá bekisnin (bread that is not the main part of the meal), keviut seudá (establishing a meal), interruptions during meals, situations where the primary food exempts the secondary one, Bircat Hamazon (Grace After Meals) on Shabbat and yom tov (Jewish holidays), and a list of foods with their respective blessings.
