Create your account with UberEats and add your preferred payment method for payment. When you feel like ordering food, select the food you want and place your order through the app. The payment will automatically be deducted from the card on file.

The intuitive software works just like the Uber app, but it’s for food. When you place your order, your phone will use the location settings to pinpoint where you are. The total cost of your food, together with the delivery fee, will display on your mobile device’s screen.

Once you confirm everything is correct and accept it by tapping ‘place order’, your order will be sent to the restaurant that you selected.

The software allows you to track your order from start to finish. You can see when your food is on its way to you, right up until the delivery is made.

For added security and peace of mind, you can also see a photo of the driver together with the driver’s details.

Is there a better alternative?

Yes. UberEats requires you to pay a delivery fee, depending on where they deliver the food to. Others applications, like Seamless, offer the same service and forego the delivery fee. Also, Seamless offers in-app discounts.

Our take

UberEats is a great solution for ordering meals, and delivery takes place to your requested address. Unfortunately, there is a co-payment for the delivery where other programs offer a free delivery service.
