Speech To Text: Convert your spoken words into written text
The Speech To Text app is a primitive version of the Windows 7 voice recognition software, but the programmers have removed the command functions so that it may only be used for voice-to-text document work and not for controlling your computer. On the plus side, this means you do not have to learn a bunch of commands, you simply talk into your microphone and it converts what you say into written text on a document.
Okay for creating drafts without physically typing text. Click the microphone button and start talking. Doesn't require lots of pre-use optimization. Has a very simple and self-explanatory GUI.
English grammar is very poorly optimized. End text requires serious editing before being readable. Voice recognition is substandard. Picks up words very slowly.
