Satellite Weather - Infrared, Water Vapor, Visible
The Simple Satellite Weather Loops app provides users with recent infrared, visible, and water vapor loops from the NASA Geostationary Operational Environmental (GOES) satellite. It allows users to view important weather patterns such as fronts, tropical storms, and hurricanes well before they arrive.
The app automatically adds new data frames to the end of the loops, usually every 10 to 15 minutes. It displays image timestamps in UTC. The geographic views available include GeoColor, Infrared, Visible, and Water Vapor, covering regions such as West PACUS, Full Disk, East CONUS, North Hemisphere, and West Pacific Ocean.
It's essential to note that this app is not affiliated with NASA or any government agency, but it offers valuable satellite weather data to help users stay informed about current weather conditions and potential weather events.
